Lesson learned

Never ask an ultra conservative consulting firm to make a decision that involves risk. The answer will be no. Come back later if and when we get busy.

So as such, I must get busy looking for work! Know anyone looking for a Mechanical Engineer and or Manager in the Fredericton area?! Let me know...

The good news: I get to hang out with Nicholas longer!

Things will sort themselves out eventually. For now, enjoy your time at home with the kids...

At least Trev has a job!! :) Everything happens for a reason...

Ouch! That sucks. How about some bowling this weekend to cheer you up? :)

It's not that bad really. It gives me more time with the kids and forces me to be more active on the job search. Things could change tomorrow and I'd have a job again - either there or elsewhere. I had an interview last week and am feeling pretty good about that option. Really, I wouldn't have been happy there if they weren't busy - I'm not one to wait for the clock to tick away. I'd much rather be in a place that's busy and where 4pm comes and you think "wow! Where has the time gone!". So it's likely for the best. I'll let you know in a few weeks though. It's really just the financial side that really sucks. That and not being able to commit to daycares that I've found and like! Just watch - I'll lose the spots and not be able to find anything when I do get a job!!

As for bowling... hmmm... I really had been thinking about the TapRoom or The Rogue for a couple of beers. The kids will be with my parents so we don't have to hurry home, but I'm still thinking a low-key night is more my thing. Thanks for the suggestion though! You guys do look like you had fun!
