2-munutes!

In the spirit of Christine's latest "thing", I thought I would take 2-minute whenever I have a chance to write a little something. For those of you on Google Reader, hopefully you won't get tired of getting new messages from me that are really a waste of time! Perhaps this will serve as a bit of an update for Trevor and anyone else interested in what's going on at the house.

So Christine's latest "thing"? She asks for 2 more minutes every chance she gets. It's actually more cute than annoying, especially since she says "munute" instead of "minute" (french, of course). When we are headed out or upstairs or wherever, she asks for "2-munutes" so she can finish what she's doing. When we get to wherever we're going in the car, she asks for "2 munutes" so she can listen to her latest Passe Partout CD a little longer. Like I said, right now, it's cuter than it is annoying. I'm sure it will wear off.

Nicholas' latest thing is how much he's moving. He still likes the exer-saucer, but is more limited on patience of being there than before. He seems to not like being trapped and would rather be on the floor with a bunch of toys around him. He's not yet crawling but can cover an entire room in no time by rolling over and over and over, spinning around in circles on his belly, pushing himself back on his belly. In the last couple of days he's also managed to pull himself forward a few inches, so I'm sure it's a matter of time before he's really on the move... Oh life will be busy...

On the family and house front: no calls for a showing yet this week, and still no offers. Trevor left yesterday morning to go to Fredericton and started working at Stantec today. Not sure what he's doing yet, but I'm sure I'll know more later tonight. Trev: Brian was just over to install those transitions, so that's done now and he's paid up. No news from Randy yet.

Hopefully I'll get another decent night sleep tonight - the kids were great for me last night. I'm hoping it will continue!

Revision 1: We do have a visit scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) at 4:45pm. We'll probably head to St. Lawrence park for a picnic or something...

Jules, I've been meaning to ask you this, but keep forgetting. What's the scoop with you and P&G? You're still on mat leave, but since they know you're not going back, does that mean they stopped with the top-up?

BTW - I like the quick updates, keep them coming!

My top-up ended in July - I only get 4 months. The scoop with P&G: I told them about our plans to move back East, about having a job there, etc. and told them that I plan to resign at the end of January, when my mat leave would expire (Trev took 1 month, so I'd be due back Feb 1st). By law, they are obligated to guarantee a same-level position when I get back, so they can't force me to leave before then... So I still get my benefits until Feb 1st.

That's awesome that you had a good night of sleep! Maybe the kids know that if you had to be up all night by yourself that it wouldn't be such a good thing. I hope it continue for you.
