Babies grow up too fast...

I can't believe a week has gone by since my last post. We've certainly had some highs and lows (this was a difficult week with the kids, but I'm feeling much better today) and I've been thinking about this post for a little bit now...

It hit me this week how much Christine was growing up. It hit me when I watched her color in an activity book: she was holding the marker properly, moving her wrist to color vs. her whole hand, and she was actually coloring vs. making large circles around the entire page. She was actually making an attempt to stay in the lines. Wow! I can't believe my baby's not really even a toddler but a true preschooler. How time flies.

As for Nicholas, he's totally on the move now. He's pulling himself forward very well when he wants something and rolls around the rest of the time. He's super strong on his legs, but doesn't have any balance yet. And he's just so big that he looks like he's a toddler... Seeing Grace and Lauren make me realize how quickly the last 7 months have gone by and despite my trying to enjoy every moment and making them last, they just flew!

As I was thinking about this post a couple of days ago and what I would write, Christine said something very sobering: "me fait pipi par terre" (I peed on the floor). Perhaps she's still a baby or toddler in some ways... :)

If Nicholas continues to be cooperative, I'll post pictures and videos on flickr right now. Otherwise, have a look in the next day or two.
