House update

It seems like November picks up a bit for house buyers, or at least we've had some renewed interest in visiting, I think. We had a showing on Friday afternoon, an open house Saturday and another showing today.

I haven't gotten any feedback from the showing on Friday, and the open house was not so great - only 3 groups came through, and all of them were just driving by and decided to stop in. The showing today though was supposedly very good. They had lots of questions and follow-ups for the real estate agent, so hopefully that's a good sign. The only annoying thing is they were here FOREVER! They had scheduled half an hour, but it was almost an hour before I could come back. I kept driving by to see (and I really didn't want Nicholas to fall asleep in the car and ruin his afternoon nap) and they were still there! Anyway, hopefully something will come of this.

Other than that, I'm now one of those crazy people that decorate for Christmas way too early... When I asked our real estate agent about it, she said that I should absolutely take the decorations out and as soon as possible. She would come back and take new pictures too to liven up the mls listing. Anyway, the house now has some snowmen and Santas scattered around the house. I also managed to finish some green urn decorations for the front step (check this out if you're looking for inspiration) and get the wreaths out.

Also, our house should be on the cover of the "Homes" section in the paper next weekend! Yay! Hopefully that helps to get lots of really interested buyers here!
