My Last Open House

Well, that was definitely my last open house. Despite being on the cover of the paper and having all the attention we could have gotten, only 3 groups were through. I'm pretty disappointed - especially for all the work that it takes to get ready and all the extras that I did this time. Oh well... I haven't talked to the real estate agent yet to get more of a feel for how it went, but here's her letter:

"There were 3 groups through, each have a house they need to sell. Very positive comments about the house, the work done on it - loved the cookies (you are so thoughtful). One lady wants her husband to come through this week. They both work downtown. All in all, a good open house. Thanks Julie. The cookies are incredible. Would love your recipe. Call me if you want to discuss."

So there you go. She can do as many open houses as she wants after Dec. 7th! There won't be any between now and then. I don't even know if I have the energy to have another showing in the next two weeks!! I'm sure we'll pull it together if necessary though...
