If you had asked me last week if I was looking forward to going to work in February, I would have said no way. I would have said that I'd love to stay home with the kids a while longer, especially because of how trying the last couple of months have been. I would love to stay home and have some more quality time with the kids.
If you asked me yesterday or today, I would have answered differently: when can I start? Working would be such a walk in the park compared to all this...
I don't know how daycare providers do it. It must be the most difficult and least paid job there is. And they're doing it for other people's kids!! I suppose they're not as worried for the health and well-being of the kids as a parent would be, but still!
Back to the Dr's office this afternoon with Christine. More news later.

No real news. She may have finally broken through the fever. We'll see if it comes back. Her last drugs were at 11:30. Looks like she's just continuing to fight a flu or virus of some sort. I had been worried about something much more serious based on her symptoms, but she got better as the day went on. Hopefully she's done and Nicholas doesn't get it.
You're a real trooper, Julie! I agree on your comment on daycare professionals....I've always felt it's the most important yet least-paid job....Anyway - the countdown is on....keep your chin up!
I also hear you about going back to work. The last couple of days have been a bit of a wake-up call with the snow, snowsuit, stroller in the snow, grumpy dog, and oh yeah - the baby that is suddenly into everything and no longer wants to nap, period. But there is no way I can complain - at least I only have one to worry about!
Hope Christine continues to improve and looking forward to seeing all of you on the weekend.
