Latest update

Here's basically an e-mail I sent Trev this morning. I thought I'd write a post, but this is just much easier... :)

"I kept Christine at home today. She had a fever (100.5) and wasn't her usual self. She did get a little bit sick, but after coughing, so could have just been something in her throat. Anyway, she seems to be better now, so she will likely to go Maryse's tomorrow instead. Not a bad deal. We're going to try to get the groceries we desperately need after Passe Partout.

I called the moving company rep and she will be back to do another inventory tomorrow at 9am. She said that next Friday (5th) shouldn't be a problem, despite the last minute! She will also have an idea of delivery date tomorrow, but it won't be firm. I'll let you know.

I'm also waiting to hear back from a piano guy with an over the phone estimate. They charge to come and give the appraisal, but she said she could do some reading and get back to me. She was impressed that as much of it was refurbished. At first, she was basically sounding like it wasn't worth her while to talk to me, but after she found out it had new keys, strings and hammers, she was like "oh - well, then, I'll definitely call you back about this". So we'll see.

Also, our real estate just called. She sounded ok with the number of visits on Saturday. Not entirely happy, but she said that a new listing of hers also only had 3 people at the open house, so not to worry. She's happy though that it's bringing showings. We got a last minute request for this afternoon at 3 and she wants to bring people through tomorrow afternoon at 1:30. She said she wants me to stay tomorrow so as not to disturb Nicholas' nap and that she knows the couple really well and they would probably love to meet me and see a "stay-at-home" mom (they have 4 kids, so it may feel even more "homey"). Anyway, we'll see what happens over the next couple of days."

That's it for now.
